My fish died on Monday, Nov. 21, 2005. He cut himself. Choice, man, it's a killer.
In other news, I finally fixed up my nano and semi-figured out how to use it. yay!
Thanksgiving goings-on -- roasted a turkey, made mash potatoes, stuffing, salsa, and then had hot pot with family and friends. I went to see Get Rich or Die Tryin', and ended up wasting a couple of movie tickets on disappointment. Ah, well. You gain some, you lose some.
Lys wins them all.
Made my homage to Costco today, and drove there with my own hands and feet. Quite a thrilling experience for my passengers, I must say. It wasn't sooooo bad. Both men apparently think that American women, as a rule, drive too fast. Way to stereotype! Although I revel in it.
You know, I realized before I left for home that on the rent check Holly gave me, her note was ... "for last night" I'm actually pretty sure that she left similar messages on all the checks she's given me so far.
What's in store for tomorrow? well, JC Penny is having a sale, and the Old Navy outlet has stanchions and rope set up like an airport outside their door because they can't have that many people in the store at one time. It's crazy.
But here, in my house (a sovereign nation according to one) tomorrow is the unknown. I plan to spend at least half the day sleeping.
See you in a few.
